Hayward offers nine actuator models supporting both electrical or pneumatic control with a wide variety of control options and features.
|EAU Series actuators are the lowest cost electric actuators offered by Hayward. The base price includes 120VAC design, brake and 1 SPDT limit switch. Options include other voltages (12V A/D, 24V A/D and 220VAC) and SS tags. The EAU series is designed for light duty ball valve applications that do not require a manual override.|
|HRSN Series electric valve actuators are Hayward's most versitile design. With the powder coated aluminum alloy housing and NEMA 4/4X/IP67 enclosure, standard features include 2 auxiliary limit switches, raised position indicator, internal low power heater, clutchless manual override, and self-locking drive.|
|ECP Series actuators are high performance GFPP housing electric actuator with standard 120/230V and 12/24V. The base price includes 4 auxiliary limit switches, heater, LED status, manual override and position indicator.|
|HZSN Series is Hayward's "economy" compacy, reversing, and non-spring electric actuator. Standard features include 24VAC/VDC and 85-265 VAC supply, manual override including lock-out function (lever operated), and open/close or proportional control. The housing is aluminum alloy electrostatic coated with NEMA 4X and Class B motor protection.|
|RSR Series is Hayward's only mechanical spring return electric actuator. Standard features include a universal power supply rated at 24V ~ 240V AC or DC, basic on/off, manual override, pre-wired 1m cable, 1/2" conduit connection.|
|PCD/S series are the primary, heavy-duty pneumatic actuators for Hayward's ball and butterfly valves. They have a four piston rack and pinion design, manual override, position indicator and travel stops. The "D" configuration is direct acting, meanings it require air to open and close. The "S" configuration has a spring return "fail safe" action.|
|PMD/S series pneumatic actuators are for lighter duty applications, having a dual piston rack and pinion design, manual override and position indicator. The "D" configuration is direct acting, meaning it requires air to open and close. The "S" configuration has a spring return "fail safe" action.|
|PMD4 series pneumatic actuators are very similar to the PMD/S series except they have a glass filled polypropylene housing designed for corrosive environments. The "D" configuration is direct acting, meaning it requires air to open and close. The "S" configuration has a spring return "fail safe" action.|
|PSA/PDA series pneumatic actuators are for use with diaphragm valves and are available with air to spring or air to air configurations.|
When you order an actuator and actuator-ready valve together, it will be assembled for free, meaning we include the mounting kit (if applicable) and assemble everything together so that it arrives as one unit ready for installation.
