True Union Ball Valves
Hayward® true union ball valves are designed for rigorous industrial and municipal applications that benefit from reliability.
The true union design allows removal from the pipeline without breaking down the pipeline connections. You can access the valve components by simply unscrewing the assembly nuts and lifting out the valve assembly.
Hayward® true union ball valves have a finely threaded seal retainer to enable adjustment to compensate for seat wear. In addition to this functional life extending feature, the PTFE seats are reversible to ensure a damaged or worn valve can be quickly returned to service. These valves also have a double o-ring stem seal to protect against leakage.
Actuate Your Ball Valve
Hayward® true union ball valves are designed to be automated with either electric or pneumatic actuators using a mounting bracket that doesn't need to be glued or clamped-on. The special mounting bracket ensures positive shaft alignment and it is easy to transform valves from manual to automatic or back to manual operation.
You can “convert” an existing Hayward® true union ball valve to be actuated OR you can order them that way.
Custom configured valve actuators can be specified and attached to actuator ready ball valves. This is a two-step process; first you select the actuator ready version of the ball valve (without manual handle) and second you select the corresponding actuator, using the navigation menu above. It is probably easier for you to simply complete our inquiry form and let us look-up the proper valve and actuator combination than it is to do the research yourself.
